About The Job

As a Security Officer at DK Security, you will ensure the safety and security of client properties. Duties vary depending on the contract and include:

• Customer Service: Assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Observe and Report: Stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.

• Security Presence: Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.

• Security Officer Duties: Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.

• Access Control: Prevent unauthorized entry, check IDs, and follow proper access procedures.

• Safety Patrol: Ensure a safe environment and enforce site policies.

• Emergency Response: Assist in emergencies, including CPR/First Aid/AED care, and communicate with emergency personnel.

• Security Liaison: Maintain communication with client staff and update supervisors.

• Other Duties: Additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or GED

• Pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter

• No felony convictions

• No misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, assault, weapons, controlled substances, or multiple alcohol offenses

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8–12 hours

• Ability to lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work)

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified

• Good vision and hearing; able to use a smartphone or computer for work tasks

• Fluent in English

• Professional with excellent customer service, integrity, and positive attitude

• Complete required trainings and adhere to all client and company policies
