Summary of This Role
Investigates potential credit card fraud cases based on information received from the fraud detection system. Analyzes account history including payment and transaction history. Contacts customers and merchants to obtain additional information regarding fraudulent charges. Maintains accurate and complete documentation of all necessary investigation information.
What Part Will You Play?
Responds to 25 or more account inquiries per hour providing merchants and cardholders of 5 or more assigned clients with standard/scripted responses to SLA-defined alerts from fraud detection queues.
Assists with lost/stolen reports, blocks and transfers compromised accounts to prevent further losses.
Builds credit card replacement orders and completes shipping materials.
Begins to build knowledge and basic skills required to identify fraudulent credit card activity through training, research of policies, procedures, external regulations, analytic techniques, and expertise of experienced fraud analysts.
Ability and flexibility to work assigned hours in a 24/7 Call Center.
Requires all shift availability including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
Requires being on camera during work hours.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
At least 6 months high-volume call center (onsite or remote) experience within the last 2 years
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work experience in a fraud-related field
Desired Skills and Capabilities
Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks.
Works on routine to semi-routine assignments, requiring limited decision-making outside of stated processes.
Follows detailed instructions and established procedures; works under close supervision.
Compensation
$15 per hour, non-exempt. Pay may vary based on location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Location
Primarily remote within the United States. Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance to an office for occasional on-site presence for meetings, training, or events.
