Service Credit Union is seeking a Contact Center Lending Specialist who will serve as the primary point of contact for the applicant throughout the application process and is responsible for all stages of the loan cycle to include the initial interview, review of the credit picture, loan decision, closing and funding processes.


Pay: Starting at $22.62 per hour. Flexible based on experience.


Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:30-8pm EST with rotating Saturdays.

The Day to Day:


  • Review and decision any new loan application via phone or web application. 
  • Perform routine follow up with loan applicants to complete the loan process. 
  • Identify and discuss cross sell opportunities during the loan application process. 
  • Review and upload supporting loan documentation to loan processing system. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the loan applicant throughout the application process. 
  • Process incoming member requests for loan related documentation to include copies of contracts, payment booklets and subsequent changes in terms of the loan. 
  • Responsible for closing on loan applications to include covering the terms of the loan, creation of loan contracts and disbursal of loan proceeds. 
  • Perform audits of completed loan packages to ensure quality and consistency standards are met. 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 


Experience and Qualifications:


  • Proven success identifying and cross selling opportunities. 
  • Proven track record identifying and selling competitive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Outstanding customer service skills. 
  • Good organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task. 
  • Ability to recognize and resolve member issues promptly, using courtesy and tact. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
