ASSISTANT BEHAVIORAL ANALYST - IDD - CADILLAC
Locations Available: CADILLAC, GRAYLING, HOUGHTON LAKE, TRAVERSE CITY

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and motivated Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. As an Assistant Behavior Analyst, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Behavior Analyst to implement individualized treatment plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for providing direct support to clients, collecting data, and ensuring that behavioral interventions are applied effectively and ethically.
Essential Functions
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment protocols as directed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.
- Accurately record and maintain and monitor data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness during sessions.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals in various settings and assist with skill development, including communication, social, and adaptive skills.
- Assist in conducting assessments, such as functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skill assessments, under the supervision of a licensed Behavior Analyst.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure that behavioral interventions are consistent and support the client’s goals.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and prepare regular reports on treatment goals and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, and assist in training parents, staff, and other team members on behavior analysis techniques and strategies as necessary.
- Stay informed of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and support staff to facilitate treatment objectives for their patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure a holistic approach to the client and their treatment.
- Have a presence in client’s home in order to build rapport and monitor and observe the client’s needs and environment. This may require travel to various homes, both family homes and AFC homes.
Qualifications
- Credentialed and qualified to provide services within this discipline
- Certified or ability to be certified as a BCaBA or licensed or ability to become licensed as LaBA
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in behavioral analysis
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in an ABA - based setting preferred
PAY: $64,782 - $73,332
