Job Summary:
The Jr. Customer Service Representative assists in supporting our customer service department, ensuring effective communication between clients, project managers, and contractors. Plays a key role in addressing client inquiries, processing requests, and contributing to customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This position supports all departments within sales and operations.
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (On-Site)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in answering customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Support the coordination and communication between clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure timely project updates and resolutions of concerns.
- Assist with the preparation and review of customer service documentation, including change orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Monitor and track customer complaints or issues, ensuring that they are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Assist in maintaining accurate customer records and project files.
- Help organize and attend customer meetings, ensuring all client needs are met and any follow-up actions are documented.
- Provide administrative support to the customer service and project teams as needed.
- Participate in customer satisfaction surveys and gather feedback to improve processes and services.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include heavy phone use/contact.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education And Experience
- HS diploma (Required)
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).
- Strong interest in the construction or hurricane protection industry and customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or the construction industry is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
