Overview

Honey is seeking Customer Support Specialists to join their growing Sydney-based team starting 20 October 2025. This is a mix of full-time and part-time roles. Honey is a disruptor in the home insurance industry, combining smart technology with exceptional human service to create simpler, faster, and more customer-friendly experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, web chat, email, and other channels.

  • Explain policy features, coverage options, and smart sensor technology in simple, clear terms.

  • Provide quotes and guide customers through policy purchase, renewal, and retention.

  • Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and payment queries.

  • Gather and share customer feedback to help shape products and processes.

  • Handle concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues independently or collaborating with colleagues.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience (contact centre experience preferred but not essential).

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.

  • Active listening, empathy, and a customer-focused mindset.

  • Proactive problem-solving and the confidence to ask the right questions.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in customer records.

  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster between 8am–7pm (Sydney time).
