Customer Service Representative (Hybrid Role)
Position Summary
Responsible for processing customer orders accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Handles various customer inquiries, processes sample requests, and assists with general office duties assigned to the customer service department.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong multitasking abilities
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet customer and corporate demands
Reports To
Customer Service Manager
Direct Reports
None
Areas of Responsibility
Answer and follow up on telephone inquiries
Process orders, including taking, printing, allocating inventory, arranging freight, and following customer-specific instructions
Provide order acknowledgments and delivery updates
Communicate with customers regarding orders and resolve any issues
Coordinate direct shipments with suppliers and carriers
Process sample requests
Handle customer complaints with documentation and corrective actions
Maintain Certificate of Analysis files and customer information records
Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, and word processing
Promote teamwork within and across departments
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other Responsibilities

Perform additional duties as assigned
