 Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting bare metal servers hosted on Hetzner, ensuring optimal network performance, uptime, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer bare metal servers on Hetzner, including setup, configuration, and regular updates.
• Troubleshoot server and network issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security measures, firewalls, and regular backup protocols.
• Collaborate with development or operations teams to support infrastructure needs.
• Manage server documentation and maintain accurate system logs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing Linux-based bare metal servers.
• Hands-on experience with Hetzner server infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in networking and system administration.
• Familiarity with DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to technical issues.
• Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, CompTIA Network+)
• Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud and hybrid environments.
