Job Description


This position supports the Welfare and Self-Reliance Services Department to foster self-reliance, care for the poor and the needy, and provide opportunities for giving and service by helping members become economically and emotionally self-reliant; and providing humanitarian aid to relieve suffering; thus, furthering the mission of the Church. This position reports to the Regional Humanitarian Manager.

Responsibilities


  • Assist the Regional Humanitarian Manager to coordinate humanitarian efforts within Pakistan
  • Plan and execute humanitarian projects in alignment with Area priorities
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure humanitarian projects are on-track and completed timely per the project plan
  • Provide training and support to senior missionaries and volunteers
  • Build and maintain relationships with local communities, government officials, and NGOs
  • Develop and manage project budgets in accordance with the relevant compliance principles and organization policies and standards.
  • Compile internal reports, prepare payment requisitions, and provide other related financial support
  • Assist to manage project proposals and project oversight including keeping within budget


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years’ in project management or relevant experience
  • Proven work ethics, honesty and integrity in all dealings
  • Good customer service and follow up skills
  • Must have strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and internet software)
  • Good verbal and written English and Urdu communication skills
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines
