SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Transportation Dispatcher /Driver.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma/GED preferred
- Must possess or have ability to obtain a valid South Carolina commercial driver’s license (CDL) approved by appropriate, Federal, State, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations in connection with operating a transportation service.
- Must have minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Self-starter, detail oriented, organized, have excellent writing and oral communication
- Available to flex hours if needed to support mission
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug test, and physical exam.
Description
- Assist the Transportation Manager with daily operations as directed
- Be able to act on behalf of the Transportation Manager in their absence
- Complete, inspect and maintain service and equipment maintenance logs daily
- Exhibit the upmost customer service
- Master daily scheduling and forecasts based on student count to include recreation runs
- Supervise processes and evaluate them for efficiency for all employees
- Conduct inventories as required
- Clear and effective written and communication skills
- Must be able to charter and navigate the local area with ease
- Must have great time management/initiative and be able to meet deadlines.
- Hours of operation are not standardized but will be scheduled with notice
- Must be willing to operate vehicle shuttles when required
- Exceptional communication skills and professionalism
- Provide low maintenance and fleet cleaning as required
