HRIS Intern
This role provides the opportunity to assist HR in a myriad of ways by utilizing technical skills daily to continually improve our HCM implementation of Dayforce.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Provide both functional and technical support for HR systems and act as the technical point of contact to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within those systems.
- Data audits and clean up
- Participate in review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades
- Review and update HRIS documentation such as training materials
- Develop and maintain queries and reports (standard, scheduled, and ad hoc) to support most effective and efficient use of HR data
- Track and communicate status of assigned tasks and projects
- Put together PowerPoint presentations for leadership team
- Create user trainings for front end use of HRIS system
- All other duties as assigned
Expectations
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Effective interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and follow deadlines
- Expected workload: 40 hours per week, willing to be flexible around school schedule/availability of qualified candidate
Qualifications And Experience
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university
- Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Technology or Business major
- Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Experience using technology and teaching others how to use technology
- Previous work experience preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with any of the following are a plus:
- Any HCM (especially Ceridian Dayforce)
- SQL
- Power-BI
- XML
- CSS
- Power Apps
