About The Role


Headway is looking for Data Analysts to join our growing Data team. As an early team member, you'll play a key role in driving the company's data-driven decision-making by delivering insights that will empower business stakeholders. You will collaborate with various teams to interpret data, create dashboards, and build analytics tools that facilitate better decision-making. If you're comfortable with ambiguity, excited about building a data-driven culture, and motivated by solving impactful problems, this is the role for you. You'll work across different business functions, such as growth, product, revenue, and customer success, helping to shape the future of mental healthcare.

Responsibilities


  • Become a trusted strategic partner to business teams, identifying key data insights to drive decision-making.
  • Support operational needs by delivering high-quality data modeling and reverse ETL output.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product analysts, and data scientists to present data in an actionable and digestible way.
  • Tell compelling stories through data to help both technical and non-technical teams understand key metrics and insights.
  • Build and manage data pipelines and models to ensure scalability and long-term accessibility of key data.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track critical performance indicators (KPIs) across the business.
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects with limited oversight.

Qualifications


  • 9+ years of experience in data analysis, providing key insights to drive decision-making across growth, product, and operations teams.
  • 6+ years of experience working in a high-growth technology startup environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and experience with modern BI tools like Metabase or Looker.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • A passion for solving complex real-world problems and leveraging data for impactful decision-making.
  • Bonus: Experience with Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, dbt, or statistical analysis tools like Python.
  • Bonus: Prior experience working in operations or as an operations analyst.

Compensation And Benefits


  • Expected base pay range: $182,750 - $215,000, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Performance-based variable compensation and equity grant potential.
