Summary Of Job Description
The Associate Accountant (Lease) position is responsible for completing payments to landlords by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This position prepares and reports percentage rent calculations for all landlords and ensures all payments are made on a timely basis.
You’ll Get a Chance To
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices from landlords and ensures all payments are made on a timely basis.
- Enter and prepare payment of landlord and vendor invoices (utilities and miscellaneous invoices).
- Provide customer service to landlords, Operations, vendors, and others in the department, responding to landlord and vendor requests for information, explaining P&Ls to Operators, and assisting the Lease Accountant with lease-related audits.
- Assist in month end close activity, preparing and processing uploads and journal entries and P&L scrubs.
- Verify monthly statements and transactions to verify landlord accounts.
- Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations related to lease agreements.
- Prepare and report monthly percentage rent calculations to landlords within the lease requirements.

Your Background & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with coursework in Accounting required
- Minimum one to two years of related experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
- If hired, successful completion of annual store training
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P1 $28-$35/ Hour
Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
