As part of our commitment to developing future leaders, we’re seeking a talented Business Development Intern to join our Growth & Strategy team this summer.


Position Overview


The Business Development Intern will support market research, proposal development, and strategic growth initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in federal contracting, strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration—all within a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct market research and analyze trends in government contracting 
  • Assist with proposal coordination and the development of capability statements 
  • Support pipeline tracking and CRM updates 
  • Help draft presentations, summaries, and strategic briefs 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content for business development initiatives 
  • Attend internal meetings and contribute to growth strategy discussions


Requirements


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Interest in federal contracting, proposal writing, or government services 
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Compensation Transparency


Compensation at Morgan 6 varies depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, role responsibilities, individual qualifications, and relevant experience. In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws and executive orders, Morgan 6 provides a reasonable, good-faith compensation range for roles that may be performed in the following jurisdictions:


  • California: $16.00/hour
  • Colorado: $15.00/hour
  • District of Columbia: $17.00/hour
  • Maryland: $15.00/hour
  • New York: $16.00/hour
  • Washington: $17.00/hour


Actual compensation may vary based on the final work location and the individual’s level of skills and experience as it relates to the role.
