Job Description
Par Logistics, Inc. is a fun, fast-growing expedited transportation company, and we’re looking for a motivated Customer Service Associate to join our team.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM.
Flexibility is key—occasional early starts or late finishes may be needed based on workload.
Pay Range: $19–$21 per hour, based on experience.
- We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly motivated
- Extremely dependable
- Able to work independently and stay on task
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist both customers and drivers professionally
- Consistently communicate with drivers and customers to provide and confirm ETAs every 2–4 hours
- Ensure drivers are loaded/unloaded promptly with the correct freight
- Immediately escalate any issues to the customer, driver, and load planner as needed
- Update load status for both customers and drivers using websites and company software
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of solid work experience (Customer Service experience preferred)
- Transportation industry experience a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
