 Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Web Developer with strong experience in WordPress and WooCommerce, who can independently manage, maintain, and enhance our entire website – both front-end and back-end. You will be responsible for everything from design implementation and plugin customization to backend development and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our WordPress/WooCommerce-based websites
• Handle front-end tasks including responsive UI/UX design, layout customization, and theme development
• Manage back-end development, including custom plugin development, API integration, and database management
• Troubleshoot website issues, perform regular updates, backups, and security patches
• Customize WooCommerce functionality to align with business workflows (checkout, inventory, payments, etc.)
• Optimize website performance, loading speed, and SEO
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to launch new features and campaigns
• Manage website hosting, DNS, SSL, and uptime monitoring

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) with WordPress and WooCommerce
• Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with cPanel, FTP, and website deployment processes
• Good understanding of SEO best practices and page speed optimization
• Experience with payment gateways, order management, and WooCommerce hooks
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the entire site
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Knowledge of basic graphic design (Photoshop, Figma, Canva)
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and eCommerce tracking
