Overview
We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our brand’s online presence. This role involves creating engaging short-form content, particularly video reels, and developing strategies that resonate with a U.S.-based audience. You will work closely with our team to ensure brand consistency, respond to audience interactions, and track performance metrics.


Job Highlights
Hourly Rate: USD 7.35
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours (4 hours per day, Monday to Friday)
Schedule: Flexible during business hours; 2 hours within Pacific business hours and 2 hours flexible anytime
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and create content for all social media accounts
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
  • Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely manner
  • Assist in creating monthly reports on social media performance and growth
  • Create and edit engaging social media content, with a focus on video reels
  • Develop content ideas and concepts that resonate with the U.S. audience
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates
  • Align all content with the company's unique voice and style
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the graphics team to ensure visual consistency across all platforms

Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management, particularly for U.S.-based audiences
  • Strong video editing skills, especially for creating short-form content like reels
  • Excellent understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience working with food or lifestyle brands is a plus
