In this part-time, remote position, you will leverage your expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) in counter and rental clerks to train advanced AI systems, ensuring they accurately reflect real-world scenarios and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with AI development teams to provide detailed insights on counter sales and rental operations.
- Assess and annotate customer interactions to enhance AI comprehension of service scenarios.
- Develop and verify training materials and data sets related to receiving orders, managing rentals, and processing payments.
- Describe available products and services, compute costs, and simulate payment acceptance within AI training modules.
- Test AI performance against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Document best practices and communicate feedback clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current with trends in counter sales and rental services to inform AI training strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a counter clerk, rental agent, or similar role (e.g., Leasing Consultant, Rental Sales Representative, Video Clerk).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and detail.
- Demonstrated ability to receive, process, and manage in-person orders for repairs, rentals, or services.
- Familiarity with describing options, computing costs, and handling payment transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data annotation and review.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and adhering to deadlines.
- Basic technical proficiency and eagerness to learn AI concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding new staff in a counter or rental services setting.
- Previous exposure to AI systems, machine learning, or data annotation projects.
