What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as a resource for service line leadership in handling complex and sensitive patient issues, providing coaching and guidance
- Coordinate investigations of patient complaints and ensure timely resolution and communication
- Utilize the patient relations reporting system to manage patient concerns and track resolution status
- Collaborate with leadership on educational programs to enhance staff awareness of patient complaint handling
- Review patient feedback data and provide recommendations for quality improvement initiatives
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in member/guest/patient customer service
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Proven ability to use electronic tools and applications relevant to job duties
- Exceptional writing and speaking skills for effective communication with patients and stakeholders
- Solid organizational skills, good judgment, and attention to detail
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience managing patient issues and feedback
- Familiarity with Epic software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to respond to complaints promptly and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative in addressing patient concerns
