We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented events specialist to join our Group Communications team. This role places a strong emphasis on planning, coordinating, and executing impactful corporate events, while also providing support to the Internal Communications Manager on key initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative and organized professional with a proven track record in managing events and delivering exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Main responsibilities
Event Management (70%)
  • Plan, Design, and Execute Events: Lead the organization of internal events (e.g., townhalls, team-building activities, seasonal celebrations, global business meetings) and client-facing events (e.g., expertise-oriented events).
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including budget management, vendor selection, venue arrangements, catering, guest management, and on-site coordination.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Partner with the Production Team to create event-related materials such as presentations, programs, signage, agendas, and follow-up content (e.g., photos, videos, post-event summaries).
  • Collect attendee feedback, evaluate event effectiveness, and implement improvements to enhance future events.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on event trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the organization’s events.
Internal Communications (30%)
  • Support the development and execution of the internal communications strategy.
  • Draft, edit and publish internal news, updates and campaigns in both English and French.
  • Back up in preparing internal communications
  • Prepare and send internal newsletter daily
  • Maintain and update the intranet, including editorial content, calendar of events, and employee resources.
  • Draft internal surveys and analyze results to improve engagement.
  • Contribute to the internal magazine and lead visual content creation with graphic design team.
  • Required Profile
Role

As an Events & Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a dual role, working mostly on the events management but also supporting the Internal Communications. The ideal candidate should have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in events (Internal communication is a plus), within the
financial industry.
  • Degree in Communications, Business Communication or Marketing is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear and compelling
messages in French and English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and
deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in using various communication channels and tools, including email platforms (e.g
Outlook), events management tools (e.g Evenito or Evenium), survey tools (e.g. Survey

Monkey) and project management tools (e.g. Monday.com)
  • Understanding of the financial industry
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of
communication initiatives.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with different teams and
stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of
the organization.
