The Online Student Advocate will provide comprehensive, personalized support to online students, helping them navigate academic and administrative processes, and connecting them with institutional resources. This role is essential in ensuring the success and well-being of online students by offering a seamless and supportive experience throughout their educational journey.

Major/Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for online students, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist students with registration, financial aid, and other administrative processes.
- Provide technical support for online learning platforms and tools.
- Facilitate students’ access to campus resources, such as library services, career counseling, and tutoring.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of institutional resources and services available to online students.
- Create and disseminate informational materials and guides to help students utilize available resources.
- Maintain regular communication with online students through email, phone, and virtual meetings.
- Conduct outreach to new and continuing students to ensure they are aware of available support services.
- Organize and conduct virtual orientation sessions and workshops for online students.
- Track and document student interactions and outcomes to inform continuous improvement of advocate services through Raider Success Hub.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to student satisfaction and service utilization.
- Work closely with academic departments, IT, student affairs, and other institutional offices to coordinate support efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and enhancement of advocate services.
