We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a traffic specialist in Pooler, GA.
ROLE COMMITMENTS
Improve consumer experience by implementing "Mat First Delivery"
On Time In Full (OTIF) score at or above 97% for FY25
Streamline Walmart OTIF processes (EDI, Tableau reporting, Item 360) to eliminate chargebacks
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Track and Trace Responsibilities:
- Track and trace inbound international and domestic freight for all distribution centers.
- Monitor containers, air freight, and domestic shipments.
- Make delivery appointments and manage empty container notifications.
- Track inbound traffic and confirm shipping and receiving of purchase orders.
Freight And Logistics Management
- Handle freight including truckload, less-than-container load (LCL), dray freight, and airfreight.
- Set up reporting for management to monitor freight operations.
Auditing And Documentation
- Audit and approve accessorial charges and freight bills to ensure accurate rates.
- Approve arrival notices and verify commercial invoices and packing lists for international shipments.
- Create commercial invoices and packing lists for international shipments.
Physical And Operational Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting the physical demands of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.
