Jordan Digital Marketing, a 2023 Google Premier Partner Workplace Excellence award finalist, is a remote-first, remote-always digital marketing agency. We focus on paid media, SEO, and content marketing to deliver best-in-class results for startups, predominantly in B2B, SaaS, and Fintech. We drive real business growth for our clients by acting as an extension of their in-house team. We’re seeking an SEO Specialist to join our team.
What You’ll Do
- Support and collaborate with SEO account managers to execute on-page optimizations, technical SEO audits, and changes
- Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
- Performing ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
- Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
- Research market and seasonal trends for SEO client industries
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
- Implement changes in content management systems (CMS)
- Execute methods to track, report, analyze, and improve SEO and content performance
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
- Participate in growing the company’s marketing blog
- Participate in ongoing training to further skill set
You Have
- 2+ years of experience working in SEO
- Attention to detail
- Good understanding of SEO best practices
- Passion for SEO and internet marketing
- Ability to implement SEO strategies while meeting client deadlines
- Data-driven and analytical mindset
- Desire to expand overall SEO and digital marketing knowledge
- Willingness to work within a team structure and have a growth mindset
- Experience working with SEO tools, including Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Agency experience
We Would Appreciate If You Have
- Experience working with other SEO tools, including (but not limited to) Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Experience with and/or understanding of code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with and/or knowledge of other marketing channels (e.g., PPC)
- Experience working with a variety of CMS’ (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
- Excellent writing skills
