Description Position Overview: Communiboost
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the public relations department in managing and promoting the organization's image and messaging. As a Public Relations Assistant, you will assist in drafting press releases, organizing media events, and maintaining relationships with journalists and influencers.
Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.25 hourly Location: Chicago, IL Key Responsibilities Assist in drafting and distributing press releases and other communication materials. Help coordinate and execute public relations campaigns and events. Maintain relationships with members of the press and media outlets. Monitor media coverage and report on public sentiment regarding the organization. Manage and update media contact lists to ensure accuracy. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to research and analyze media trends and reports.
