Job Description
Position Overview: Administer energy product or service information via written correspondence and/or telephone contact to internal or external customers daily.
Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Off peak season 30% of the day will be on the phone and during peak season 50% or more of the day will be on the phone dispatching drivers and speaking with customers
- Receive orders from drivers, salespeople or customers
- Prepare purchase orders and log information
- Prioritize, assign and dispatch orders
- Reconcile, process and file necessary paperwork
- Calculate pricing and freight charges
- Contract management and customer information
- Process and distribute billing information
- Compile and submit finalized documentation
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well within strict time frames, despite interruptions
- Detail oriented and able to process work accurately with minimal errors
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analysis skills and ability to accurately calculate prices
- Ability to work without supervision and make appropriate decisions
- Work well in a team environment
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience dispatching preferred but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
