Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled People Team Leader (Human Resources Manager) to join our organization. The People Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to align HR strategies with the overall business objectives.
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Promote positive employee relations and foster a productive work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct and take appropriate corrective actions.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management systems and processes to ensure employee growth and development.
- Assist leaders in setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Implement recognition and reward programs to motivate and retain high-performing employees.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary surveys and market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations regarding wages, hours, and benefits.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs and recommend improvements.
HR Policy and Compliance:
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and update management accordingly.
- Ensure HR practices are consistent with company values, culture, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
Competencies:
- Proven work experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS software, MS Office Suite, and other HR-related software applications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of Human Resources Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
