Acrotech currently markets a portfolio of 5 oncology products including 2 of the leading products in Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma (PTCL), which is a rare and aggressive blood cancer. We are also preparing to launch a novel drug for the treatment of chemotherapy induced neutropenia (CIN). An Internship with Acrotech Biopharma Inc. is a valuable learning opportunity through training, shadowing, and mentoring with a team of experienced professionals. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced work environment. You will participate in development meetings, a variety of networking and mentoring events. As an intern, you will have real responsibilities and work alongside expert and innovative industry professionals. The Marketing Internship at Acrotech will allow students to get practical experience with the marketing process in a bio-pharmaceutical company. They will support key projects that will give hands on experience on how Marketing works with other functions such as Sales, Commercial Operations, Training, Medical, Regulatory, and Compliance to develop marketing strategies and tactics to drive brand growth. The primary responsibility of the Marketing Intern is to support the current promotion of Beleodaq and the development and creation of marketing strategy and tactics for the launch of Ryzneuta. This is a summer internship located onsite in East Windsor, New Jersey. This position requires the ability to work onsite for a minimum of four days per week. Start date is early June. This is an 8-10 week program. Responsibilities Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments Troubleshoot and resolve problems Documenting work performed and other information Contribute to projects and process improvements Learn and apply the basics of the daily technology used in the department and at the company Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications - Skills & Requirements Must have Windows laptop, access to internet and personal phone Must have the ability to work remote as required Strong drive to complete goals, achieve results, and has high intellectual curiosity. Demonstrated leadership through either previous work experience, academic or extracurricular activities, and/or community projects with a history of completing projects in both team and individual situations. Ability to work independently on projects while keeping team informed of progress. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A strong interest in Marketing and understanding the pharmaceutical business. Ability to work on-site in East Windsor, NJ with a hybrid schedule that includes up to 4 days a week in the office. Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new technologies/systems Strong sense of personal courage and development Ability to be flexible, resourceful, quick to learn and adapt to change Solid written and active communication skills Must be able to work 20-40 hours per week Education & Experience Current full-time student with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in a related discipline Physical Requirements OFFICE POSITION - While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: ̢ۢ Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment ̢ۢ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work ̢ۢ Light to moderate lifting is required ̢ۢ Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). ̢ۢ Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
