About The Role
ISG is seeking a confident, organized, and professional Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing phone calls, assisting policyholders and agents with audit-related inquiries, providing due date extensions, indexing documents, and delivering clerical support as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask effectively, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Field incoming calls and route them to the appropriate staff or provide direct support
- Make outbound calls to customers to request documents and follow up on voicemail messages
- Answer basic questions from policyholders and agents regarding audits and verification processes
- Provide reasonable due date extensions when applicable
- Review incoming emails, submissions, and reports and distribute to relevant team members
- Index documents accurately into internal electronic files
- Assist with updating contact information for policyholders or agents as needed
- Provide additional clerical support across departments
- Adapt to changing duties as assigned by the company
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum 1 year of commercial underwriting or premium audit experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to work independently in a distraction-free remote environment
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Active listening and service-oriented mindset
- Excellent coordination, time management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work setting
