The Coordinator for Marketing and Communications in the department of Student Involvement and Engagement (SI&E) is responsible for developing and implementing marketing, social media, and communications for campus-wide programming efforts. The position coordinates and implements marketing and communication plans and outreach to promote a vibrant and engaging community ethos, connect students to the campus and surrounding communities, enhance sense of belonging for all students, and support student success. In addition, the position is responsible for the supervision, coaching, and performance management of student employees. Responsibilities include oversight of the allocation of departmental funds, purchasing for marketing and communication, and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. The position reports to the Assistant Director for Operations and Assessment
