Position Information
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or Higher Education Administration or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum one year experience in higher education recruitment, e-recruiting, marketing or communication.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced work environment and manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Skilled at multi-tasking.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication, Higher Education Administration, or Marketing.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience working with undergraduate students and/ or admissions/ recruitment programs.
- Knowledgeable about creating/maintaining social media campaigns and pages on outlets such as Facebook and Twitter.
- Experience training and managing/ delegating tasks to student employees.

Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.
