Evolus is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Social Media Manager. This individual will be responsible for building our social media presence among our healthcare provider customer audience and creating social media campaigns that attract new customers and motivate existing customers to engage with Evolus, our products and programs. In this role, you will be empowered to use social in new ways for our category and directly impact our brand reputation.Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Develop strategies and tactics to support the exponential growth of our social presence across multiple platforms, fostering high engagement rates in addition to increased reach, engagement and follower counts.
- Own the content calendar and social execution plans for HCP (health care professional) focused social media channels - @Evolus @EvolusAcademy.
- Experience developing and executing content plans for live and in-person events, including pre-event promotion, real-time onsite coverage, and post-event recaps. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to capture and publish engaging, timely content across platforms that extends the impact of educational and experiential moments.
- Collaborate with the broader social teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and cross-channel promotion on other channels
- Strong understanding of content creation and visual storytelling across social platforms; prior experience as a content creator or managing creator partnerships is a plus.
- Ability to apply best practices in short-form video, educational content, and platform-native formats to engage healthcare professional audiences effectively.
- Experience managing or supporting influencer programming, ideally within the healthcare space. Understanding of the legal safety requirements for the regulated aesthetics industry is a plus.
- Collaborate with the Professional Marketing Team and Training Team to create social campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and leads.
- Manage our community, cultivating conversations and responding to those who interact with our content.
- Own the ideation, implementation, and engagement with healthcare providers (our customer) who carry influence on social media platforms.
- Provide internal Creative department, agency partners or freelance designers with social campaign briefs and direction to inform asset and caption creation.
- Collaborate with our Global Insights & Analytics team to monitor social and channel Key Performance Indications and report insights to marketing leadership team
- Ensure timely submissions of all proposed content to internal Promotional Review Board.
- Responsible for scheduling, managing, monitoring and optimizing the posting schedule, incorporating best practices.
- You are a natural born storyteller and understand how to bring them to life through social content.
- You are social media obsessed, from content development to influencers, community building to channel development.
- You love the start-up mentality and are ready to build from the ground, up! As a small, agile team, you may often wear many hats and are responsible for the full execution of your programs.

Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, communication or public relations preferred
- 5+ years social media marketing experience
- Ideal candidate will have content creation experience
- Experience implementing social media campaigns across multiple platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram/Meta and YouTube
- Willing to learn promotional guidelines required for pharmaceutical products and medical devices
- Ability to act independently and represent be resourceful in approach to problem solving.
- Foster a collaborative team environment with your peers on the internal creative, regulatory, project management, digital enablement, analytics’ teams to ensure your social campaigns are executed well and reporting data is shared back with the team
A Few Other Items Worth Mentioning:
- Office location – Newport Beach, CA. Hybrid schedule, in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; remote optional Monday and Friday
- This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Social Media & Influencer Marketing
- Up to 20% of travel required for company social media shoots, to attend sales and customer meetings and additional meetings as needed
Compensation & Total Rewards:
