Job Summary


The Disparities Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a project coordinator for an exciting new research initiative focused on testing and implementing evidence-based practices in clinical sites.


Qualifications


Project Coordinator: The Disparities Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a research project coordinator for a study focused on addressing health and healthcare inequities in socially vulnerable communities. The project coordinator should have demonstrated experience in research and coordination in areas such as health services research, implementation of evidence-based practices, and healthcare disparities. The coordinator will have an active role in clinics around Massachusetts, visiting sites to build connections, set up activities, monitor progress, and facilitate problem solving. They will work closely with both investigators and clinical site staff to facilitate training and coaching activities, track progress, and conduct evaluations. They will coordinate screening, assessment and tracking of research participants taking part in the study and will work with a team to envision daily activities and work towards project goals. They will support Clinical Research Coordinators recruiting research participants and will collaborate with project managers to ensure timing and coordination of assessment and intervention activities. They will be the primary staff member to visit participating clinical sites to ensure availability of needed materials, arrange logistics, and support clinical team members in meeting project goals.


The ideal candidate will bring a high level of attention to detail, and be proactive, personable, and enthusiastic about the intersection of research and practice. Access to a car, or comfort with using a rental car for transport is important for this role. Salary range is $55,000-$60,000.
