We are seeking a talented Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our team and help us continue to exceed client expectations.

As a Full Stack WordPress Developer at 2A Commerce you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring that websites are visually appealing, highly functional, and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development

•  Create and implement custom WordPress designs and occasionally customize existing themes.
•  Develop responsive and user-friendly website designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
•  Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
•  Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
•  Optimize website performance and page load times.

Back-End Development

•  Customize and extend WordPress functionality using PHP.
•  Integrate third-party plugins and APIs.
•  Set up and maintain databases, ensuring data security and integrity.
•  Develop custom WordPress plugins as needed.
•  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Content Management

•  You will not be responsible for managing client content.

Security and Maintenance

•  Implement security best practices to protect websites from threats and vulnerabilities.
•  Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
•  Monitor website performance and address any issues promptly.

Collaboration and Communication

•  Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to meet project goals and deadlines.
•  Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical team members and clients.
•  Stay updated on industry trends and WordPress developments.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred but not required, Web Development, or a related field. You must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with Word Press
•  Proven experience as a Full Stack WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects.
•  Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
•  Familiarity with WordPress coding standards and best practices.
•  Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
•  Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
•  Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
•  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
•  Understands javascript frameworks and how to properly implement in WP frontend designs.
•  General understanding of Firearms and the Firearms industry preferred but not required.
