Description
We are on the lookout for a proficient Front End Developer to be a part of our team. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this role centers around the creation and management of dynamic user interfaces, with an emphasis on HTML and CSS. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize user-facing features using HTML and CSS
Understand the project specifications and design the front-end application accordingly
Collaborate with the team to discuss, analyze, and implement the user interface requirements
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Monitor and improve front-end performance
Document application changes and develop updates
Resolve front-end issues and bugs promptly
Maintain and improve code quality through reviews and suggestions for improvements
Stay abreast of the latest developments in front-end coding and technology
Contribute to team meetings and offer innovative ideas for system improvements.
Requirements
Proficiency in CSS and HTML is mandatory.
Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InVision or Photoshop).
Strong understanding of layout aesthetics and a rigor for programming are essential.
Knowledge of SEO principles.
Excellent ability to convert design files into interactive user interfaces utilising HTML and CSS.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Understanding of entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues that appear on the front end.
Degree in Computer Science or related field would be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Good time-management skills and ability to work on a team.
Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and techniques.
