Location: Austin, Texas (location is non-negotiable)
The Business Analyst impacts the team by acting as a liaison between Operations and Technical support by triaging escalations, investigating system issues, documenting and tracking cases, collaborating with technology and the development teams, providing guidance and workarounds, and analyzing trends.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Triage Escalations: Review, assess and prioritize technical issues escalated by operations teams
- Investigate system issues: Perform root cause analysis, trouble shoot errors, and identify patterns in system behavior
- Document and track cases: Maintain accurate records of reported issues, investigation steps, and resolution in a ticketing system
- Collaborate with technology and development teams: Work with technical teams to escalate complex issues, test fixes and validate resolutions
- Provide Guidance and workarounds: Assist operations teams by offering interim solutions while long-term fixes are implemented
- Analyze trends: Identify recurring system issues and recommend improvements to prevent future escalations
- Communicate effectively: Ensure business end users and stakeholders are informed of issue status, expected resolutions, and any required follow up actions
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with healthcare providers with the use of general healthcare terminology
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Excel to include reporting, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
- Provider Data Management
- Familiarity with enrollment systems, CRM platforms, or similar enterprise applications
Professional Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional team
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Good communication skills to include written/oral and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
