Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare financial reports, conduct financial analysis, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, payroll tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Tax Planning and Strategy: Work with tax advisors to develop tax-efficient strategies and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
- General Accounting: Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Cash Management: Assist in managing cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Equivalent certification is a plus.
- At least 6 to 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or taxation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools preferably QB online and Odoo
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
