About the role:

This role is responsible for financial accounting and reporting of Telenor Pakistan. This will include performing and supporting daily operational tasks and month end closing & reporting for Telenor Pakistan & its subsidiaries.

This role will also be responsible for day-to-day compliance with applicable standards, policies and processes and execution of daily routines.

Your Impactful goals will include:

• Maintaining and updating daily task list/checklists.
• Ensure Compliance to Group/Local Policies and IFRS.
• Identifying opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
• Ensuring documentation and updating of SOPs.

Your Typical Day of Work:

• Performing and Supporting recording of financial transactions
• Providing support to team in delivering daily tasks.
• Performing and supporting in delivering smooth month end closing and reporting.
• Managing ad hoc tasks as and when required.

What we are looking for?

Education & Professional Qualification: ACCA, or C.A Inter or Master / Bachelor's in Finance.
Certification(s): Finance or Accounting
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years and above of relevant work experience

Functional Skills/ Knowledge Areas

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities.
• Time-management and strong follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated to undertake responsibilities and work without supervision.
• Ability to bond and adjust within the team and department.
• Sound Knowledge of ERP is a plus
• Excellent communications skills with proficiency in Verbal & Written English language.
• Ready to accept challenges and meet stringent deadlines.
• Well versed with International Accounting Standards.
• Strong Compliance with Telenor Vision and Values and upholding high ethical standards.
• Ability to learn and implement new ideas
